Meryam Smires
With over 15 years in the financial sector, Meryam developed her expertise in various accounting, auditing, fiscal, consultation and financial operations departments, and has held senior positions at major companies including some of Canada’s biggest firms, like KPMG and Deloitte.
Beyond her training as a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA), Meryam holds a specialized Master of Law degree, taxation option, from HEC Montréal. As a numbers person, Meryam has a natural understanding of taxes.
Meryam has always aspired to be a financial director. After lengthy experience working for large corporations, she is now oriented toward helping small and medium-sized enterprises better understand their expenses and management as well as the impact of their financial decisions.
